PipeChain’s WebEDI-platform is a tool that enables purchasing organizations to automate the purchase process towards a large number of suppliers. Our commitment starts with a generic EDI-flow which is set up between the buying organizations and our service. Then we take responsibility to ensure that the required number of suppliers is connected to the service so that an extremely high level of automation is accomplished in a short period. Rationalization, in other words saving, is very quickly noticed. Our goal is to delver a WebEDi-project that has a repayment period of less than a year.

As a supplier in a WebEDI-solution, you get a valuable overview of your own supply situation and the possibility to measure your own delivery precision/service level becomes obvious. You also get the ability to give greater customer satisfaction without investing in your own integrated solutions.

Scalable and extremely flexible

Our WebEDI-solution is scalable and extremely flexible. It can be delivered completely in accordance with our customers’ demands and can be integrated with the overriding business system as required. It manages processes in everything from order and delivery planning to delivery notification, product labeling and invoicing as standard. As the WebEDI-solution consists of a system based service, run by and with us, we have the possibility to deliver integrated flows to and from suppliers as required. Integrated flows can be based on traditional EDI, a simpler file transfer, or XML and WebServices.

Our WebEDI-solution can be adapted so it also supports processes around just-in-time deliveries, KANBAN and VMI, providing the foundation in those cases where current business models will change.
