When implementing VMI towards suppliers it’s critical for the success that all involved parts fully understand the purpose & benefits of VMI.

This education can be directed towards the suppliers or the internal buyers. Preferably both parties are present in a two day education.

Training information

Goal: The goal with the education is to get basic knowledge of the VMI concept ant to get basic knowledge of how to monitor & work with the VMI process in PipeChain.

Who: The education can be directed towards the Suppliers and/or the Internal buyers

When: When new suppliers should be introduced to VMI with PipeChain and/or when new internal users should start working with the VMI process.

Where: If PipeChain is implemented at customer then the education is preferably held there. Else the education can be held at PipeChain, Lund.

Length: 1 day if directed towards supplier or internal buyers, 2 days if both parties are present.
