"When we started the project the goal was to reduce inventory and shorten leadtimes as well as increase service levels. Today we can say that the entire investment has paid off in less than a year, our own time included. We have already lowered our stock by 4-5 coverdays, which corresponds to a 50% reduction, and still the service level has increased. We have created a network, where we and our suppliers collaborate to achieve a common goal: a fast and controlled flow of products that largely decreases the need for stockkeeping."
