Customer Bucket Duration Meters
The Customer Bucket Duration Meters screen displays a Duration Meter for each Customer Bucket (each customer’s stock of a certain product).
If you double-click on a Duration Meter, you open the Customer Bucket Detail screen for that product and customer. See more information in Customer Bucket Detail screen.
If you right-click on a Customer Bucket Duration Meter, you open a menu where you can choose the following commands:
Sort By - Opens a submenu where you can choose how to sort the list items.
Recalculate Duration - If you use this command, PipeChain Supply will show the duration of this customer bucket as of this moment. The duration is always recalculated automatically at night.
Generate Delivery Suggestion - If you choose this command, a new delivery suggestion will be created for this product and customer, and the Outbound Delivery Suggestion Detail screen will be opened.
Inventory Chart – opens an inventory chart for the customer and product in question. See more information in Inventory Chart.
If you place the mouse cursor over a Duration Meter, a hovering tool tip window will open with a summary the information about that customer’s stock of that product.

Other
Red meter: A red Duration Meter means that a customer’s stock of a product is not enough to last for the Lead Time . This could be because something has gone wrong in the communication between you and the customer via PipeChain Supply, or because you have had some kind of problem delivering. You must act right away to minimize the risk of shortages – e.g. arrange for an emergency shipment.
Yellow meter: A yellow Duration Meter means that the customer’s stock of a product is not enough to last for the Lead Time + the Safety Time . When you have taken care of the products with red meters, you should check on these products next.
Green meter: A green Market Meter means that the customer’s stock of a particular product is satisfactory.
Blue meter: A blue Duration Meter means that the customer’s stock of a particular product is more than will last for the Max Time. You might want to take a look and see if the settings in PipeChain Supply could be changed so that the customer’s stock level can be lowered and storage space is not taken up unnecessarily.
A Duration Meter is a graphical representation of your need for replenishing the stock of a product.
