Inbound Reception Schedule Detail

If the type of the schedule is Reception Days, the Reception Days tab is the only tab that is active.

The days on which your company can receive goods from this supplier are checked.

The Weekly Transports tab is active if the type of the schedule is Transport Times. It lists transport times per weekday (not per date). Based on this weekly schedule, your PipeChain Supply automatically schedules transports. These transports can be viewed in the Transport List tab (see page 126).

When you click to create a new weekly transport, the following dialog box is displayed.

Fill out the fields and click OK.

If your shipment lead time is longer than one week, use the Receipt Week to adjust the lead time to the correct number of weeks.

The Cancelled Transports tab is active if Transport Times has been selected under Schedule Type. It lists cancelled transport occurrences.

The Extra Transports tab is active if the type of the schedule is Transport Times. It lists extra transport occurrences that the supplier has added to the weekly transports. The extra transports are also shown in the Transport List tab.

Note     If the supplier creates an extra transport that a/ has a shipment time The planned, confirmed or actual Shipment Time of this delivery. that is on a non-working day in the supplier’s calendar or b/ has a receipt time The planned, confirmed or actual Reception Time of this delivery. that is on a non-working day in your calendar, the transport will still be included in the Transport List!

This tab is active if the type of the schedule is Transport Times.

The Transport List tab lists all possible transports, i.e.:

Automatically scheduled weekly transports (based on the schedule shown in the Weekly Transports tab. These have “Weekly” in the Type field.

Extra transports, also listed in the Extra Transports tab. These have “Extra” in the Type field (see the illustration above).

Transports that have been cancelled (shown in the Cancelled Transports tab) disappear from the Transport List tab.

The Receipt Time is shown in the Site's Time Zone with a tooltip showing the Supplier's, the Site's and the User's Time Zone.

The Shipment Time is shown in the Supplier's Time Zone with a tooltip showing the Supplier's, the Site's and the User's Time Zone.

In the advanced tab is a function who can be used for reducing a quantity peak just before a closed period (i.e. vacation). This is the case when a supplier has closed for vacation, this will generate a large delivery for last delivery before the vacation. This can now be delimited by distributed deliveries to earlier days. A server administrator is needed for activate this function.
