Introduction
PipeChain Supply is a software system that automates the flow of goods between companies, or between production and sales within a company.
In the typical PipeChain Supply relationship, the supplier is responsible for providing the customer with the right goods at the right time. The customer’s actual needs, rather than traditional purchase orders, trigger the flow.
But PipeChain Supply also handles traditional orders. It creates a basis for the order and works as a communications channel. It also gives you a complete overview of the flow.
The customer and the supplier typically each have an installation of PipeChain Supply, and these communicate with each other over the Internet. Or, using the PipeChain WebAccess module, a supplier or customer can access your PipeChain Supply via a Web browser.
Thanks to an identical graphical user interface on the customer and supplier side, combined with real-time information, the customer and supplier always have access to the same data.
