Own Bucket Detail

The Bucket fields contain information about the current status of your inventory of this product.

(Duration Meter) – a graphical representation of the duration.

Duration – the time until your inventory of this product runs out. PipeChain Supply calculates the duration based on the Balance and Outflow Demand .

Stock in Transit – the run-out time of the customer’s inventory of this product including the goods in transit (deliveries announced by you via PipeChain Supply) and the shortage.

Outflow Demand – the customer’s outflow (sales or use) of the product per day.

Outflow Sensitivity – the Outflow Sensitivity should be between 0.03 and 0.1.The higher the sensitivity, the quicker the customer’s PipeChain Supply will adjust the outflow value to actual reductions in the customer’s inventory balance.

Balance – the quantity of this product (or variant) that the customer has in inventory.

Shortage – if the customer’s demand of this product at some point exceeds what is normally needed according to their settings, the extra demand can be shown here as shortage. This tells PipeChain Supply that the customer needs more of the product than is needed just to reach the Max Time.

Virtual Balance – the customer’s inventory balance of this product, plus the quantity contained in current outbound deliveries of this product.

Unit – this field specifies the unit in which the quantity of the product is given: pcs, kg, etc.

Handle as Integer – if this box is checked, the quantity of the product is always given as an integer (no decimals).

Balance Updated – the date and time when the Balance was last updated.

Outflow Updated – the date and time when the customer’s Outflow Demand value was last updated.

The Agreement fields contain information about the settings in the delivery agreement for this product.

Strategy – this fields displays which replenishment strategy is used in this delivery agreement. There are two strategies, Bucket and Transport.

Lead Time The time it takes from the moment the supplier ships the delivery in PipeChain Supply until it is received, registered and shows up in the customer's stock balance. The Lead Time is only used if Reception Time of the Reception Schedule is of Reception Days "type". If it is not, then the Lead Time is only for information purposes..

Safety Time The minimum stock cover time for which you want to have a stock of this product. You decide what the Safety Time should be based on the stability of deliveries and sales, and on the quality of the information covering balance and demand..

Max Time The maximum stock cover time you want to have stock of a certain product..

Reception Schedule Id The Id of the Reception Schedule..

Compensate for Backlog Created during Lead Time If Flow Meter or Sales Forecast (and no other strategy is used) is used, and there is an expected backlog in the future – before the next reception – PipeChain can either takes this into account or not. The box should be checked to compensate if back orders are normally used in a situation like this. Do not check the box if sales of this product is lost at stockouts.

Safety Balance The fixed quantity below which you do not want the stock balance of the product to fall, even if there is no demand of the product. The safety balance overrides the Safety Time. By setting a Safety Balance you make sure that you always have a certain quantity in stock..

Note        To make the supply process as smooth as possible, we do not recommend setting a Safety Balance unless it is absolutely necessary.

Max Balance Is a fixed quantity above which your stock balance of the product must not rise, no matter what the outflow is. The Max Balance overrides the Max Time. Example: a tank that can hold only 1000 liters cannot stock any more liters..

Note        We do not recommend setting a Max Balance unless there is a definite physical limit to how much of the product you can store!

Multi Unit Quantity The checkbox is checked if the product is delivered in units of more than one product (e.g. pallet or case). The quantity of the product contained in each multi unit is specified in the field to the right of the checkbox. Delivery quantities are always rounded upwards to the nearest multi unit..

If you double-click on a row that turns blue when the mouse pointer is over it, you will go to the Inbound Delivery Detail screen.

Receipt Time The planned, confirmed or actual Reception Time of this delivery..

Quantity – the total quantity of the delivery as decided by PipeChain Supply.

Init D.- the Initial Duration The duration just before the reception of the delivery.

Res D. - the Resulting Duration The duration just after the reception of the delivery.

Shipment Time The planned, confirmed or actual Shipment Time of this delivery..

Status– the status is initially Confirmed, then Shipped or Partially Received. If defined PipeChain Supply can also show the statuses Suggestion and Sent to Order System. (See the  Connection Tab in the Customer Detail screen of PipeChain Supply).

Delivery Id Identifies this particular delivery. The Delivery ID is the same in your PipeChain Supply and your partners. It is automatically generated by the PipeChain Server that creates the suggestion and always starts with the Delivery Identity Header.

Order Type The order type in PipeChain is either Replenishment Order, Sales Order or Purchase Order. The orders are either outbound from or inbound to this PipeChain Supply..

Sales Order Id The Id of the Sales Order in the order system., Suborder Id and Line – the ID's of the sales order in the supplier’s order system that represents this delivery, and the ID of the line in the delivery order/suborder that represents this delivery.

Purchase Order Id The Id of the Purchase Order in the purchase/ERP system. and Line – the ID of the purchase order in your order system (if any) that represents this delivery, and the ID of the line in the purchase order in your order system that represents this delivery.

Delivery Note – the ID of the delivery note.

Alternative Delivery Address – this field can contain an alternative delivery address, if the standard address is not used for this delivery.
