Upgrade to Version 4.6.0

Backup

Before you start with the upgrade, you need to do following steps:

1. Shut down all channels and tick off the "Auto start" boxes for sending and receiving transactions

2. Shut down the PipeChain server (shut down the service)

3. Shut down the Tomcat service (if you have any)

4. Do a full db backup on the PipeChain database

5. Do a full db backup on the Analyzer database

6. Do a backup on the contents in the WebApps folder (if you have any)

7. Do a backup on the old PipeChain installation folders

Upgrade from older versions than 4.5

Before upgrading to PipeChain 4.6.0 from a previous version than 4.5, please follow the instructions in release notes for all previous releases of PipeChain that you need to check. See www.pipechain.com at Customer login for earlier release notes.
