The Supply Data Exchange Cube
Fact Table Grain
At each snapshot, one row is created in the fact table for every finished data exchange since the last snapshot was taken. Each row contains information on measures connected with a specific data exchange between your own site and another business node (i.e. a customer or supplier site).
The finest grain of the data in a cube is the level of detail contained in one row in the corresponding fact table. In the case of the Supply Data Exchange Stability cube, one fact table row contains the result (Successful or Unsuccessful) of a single data exchange. You can capture the result of all data exchanges via PipeChain that your business site makes with suppliers, or that your customers make with you.
Dimensions
Two dimensions are available in the Supply Data Exchange Stability cube. They are Business Node ("per Site" or "with Sites") and Time (with "Month" or "Week"). You can use the dimensions simultaneously by analyzing combinations of the options listed below.
Business Node per Site – With this dimension you can analyze the result of data exchanges by supplier/customer and supplier/customer group, per site.
Business Node with Sites – With this dimension you can analyze the result of data exchanges by supplier/customer and supplier/customer group, aggregated over all sites.
Time Month/Time Week – by navigating between different levels in the Time dimension, you can choose to view the result of data exchanges initiated at different points in time or over different periods of time.
