Introduction
PipeChain WebAccess for Customers allows you to work together with a supplier who has PipeChain Supply.
PipeChain Supply automates the flow of goods between suppliers and customers. It allows a company to automate deliveries from its supplier and to its customers. In this way many suppliers and customers can be connected into a large supply network where supply is triggered by actual demand, very little manual work needs to be done, and inventory levels are kept low without compromising delivery reliability.
If your supplier has PipeChain Supply and wants to use it for managing deliveries to your company, there are two options: either you can install PipeChain Supply, or you can connect to the supplier’s PipeChain Supply using PipeChain WebAccess for Customers.
If you have only one supplier (or very few) who uses PipeChain Supply, and the number of different products the supplier delivers is not great, PipeChain WebAccess is a sufficient solution. It enables the supplier to connect all customers to PipeChain Supply, while the customers do not need to install PipeChain Supply at their end. If your business grows, or if you would like to connect customers, suppliers and products and become part of an automated supply network, your company may want to consider installing PipeChain Supply.
