Supply Chain Innovation Forum 2026 Recap
Rethinking supply chain strategy for a world that has already changed
Supply chains have become a board level priority, yet many strategies are still built for a world that no longer exists.
On September 9, we brought together supply chain and procurement leaders at Het Heineken Gebouw in Rotterdam to tackle that gap head on, at the Supply Chain Innovation Forum.
A day of insights and connections
The day opened with a walk in lunch, followed by an introduction from Hans Berggren, CEO at PipeChain Group, setting the tone for the sessions ahead. From there, the group moved through a keynote, a pitching panel, and a series of break out sessions designed to turn big themes into practical next steps, with an energizer to keep the energy up along the way. A guided tour of Het Heineken Gebouw rounded out the afternoon, blending Dutch heritage with modern innovation, a fitting backdrop for a day about transformation.

Keynote: Customer value Growth Model
Rob van Ipenburg, CEO at Quyntess, opened the strategic conversation with a keynote on the Customer Value Growth Model, exploring how supply chain and procurement organizations can shift from cost focused thinking to driving real customer value.
Break-out sessions
Attendees chose their own path through three break out sessions, each tackling a different piece of the supply chain transformation puzzle:
- Automotive Supply Chain: Working as One? with Hans Berggren, on aligning fragmented automotive supply chains around a shared strategy
- Financial Supply Chain by Tradeshift with Dan Young, on how financial supply chain solutions are unlocking working capital and resilience
- AI Beyond Pilots with Rob van Ipenburg, on what it takes to scale AI from isolated experiments into real, embedded business value

A memorable close
The day closed with a panel pulling the day’s insights together, followed by the Heineken tour, networking and drinks. It was a relaxed and well earned way to end, with new connections made and old ones renewed.

More to come
