HK Scan goes live in PipeChain’s Multi-Enterprise Retail Network

HK Scan has now migrated its EDI business to PipeChain for further digitalization, in just 3 months. The initial migration covers all major retail players in Sweden (like ICA, Axfood, Coop and Bergendahls) as well as a selection of major food wholesalers. The aim of the contract is to speed up HK Scan’s digitalization further.

The purpose of HK Scan’s connection to PipeChain’s retail network, is to digitalize the order-to-invoice process with full automation of business transactions, but also digitalization of add-on processes such as flow control. For HK Scan, PipeChain’s multi-enterprise retail network makes it easy to digitally integrate these processes with all critical business partners, which in turn gives HK Scan an opportunity to strengthen its business relationships and increase sales.

Further on, unnecessary administrative hours and information lead time will be significantly cut, driving higher margins, improving service, and automating replenishment with greater precision and less effort. “To be able to migrate the EDI set-up we were running, in just 3 months, and then continue our digitalization ambition at full speed, is creating great value for us.”, says Erik Berglund, IT Director at HK Scan.
