The Packman application

Many of our customers in the manufacturing industry feel a growing pressure from their customers. Customers want assurance that their deliveries are received correctly and on time. Furthermore, the costs of complaints are rising.

Manual authentication of deliveries, where delivery staff personally compare deliveries with digital production labels, is not only expensive in manpower, but also unfortunately means more costs and incorrect deliveries due to human error. This is especially true in times of high traffic volume where stress and fatigue further the risk of errors.

The PipeChain Application, fittingly named Packman, is developed precisely to tackle this issue. To help suppliers to digitally secure the quality of their deliveries fast, cheap, and consistent.

What is Packman?

Packman is a cloud-based software used on a hand-held scanner. Using this cloud-based software you can scan, or “blip”, a delivery. Packman then uploads the barcode data from the attached order and compare it to the received digital order. And by matching your production label with your customers label Packman makes sure that everything is correct packed.

Packman is a based on the Networks Application Delivery is using application data to verify all packaging. Finally all data can be reported back to the users ERP or through API.
