Web portals are a good first step and provide a quick rollout. But they mean that your partners in the supply chain are working manually in two systems (portal and their own ERP system), leading to higher administration, the risk of manual errors and longer information lead times than necessary.

Pipe Chain launches standardized integration adapters that provide opportunities for your customers and suppliers (business partners) who currently work in order portals to integrate some or all of their messages with their ERP system. Solutions include both local installations and PipeChain’s service (SaaS), and manage multiple integration formats.

Twenty plus participants from Sweden and Europe participated. The day began with a tour of the Höganäs production plant and was followed by a presentation of how Höganäs uses Pipe Chain.

MA-system/PipeChain has organized a number of master theses within the area of inventory management. Our work on the next release of the PipeChain software suite, version 4.9.3, is in full swing. Ekmans Jönköping AB, part of Trioplast, has signed a contract with PipeChain and are running a pilot implementation project using the PipeChain software suite and collaboration concept for VMI outbound with one of their strategic customers, Procordia food, part of the Orkla Foods group. 

FlexLink wanted a customizable integration platform to improve information flows related to their business and at the same time gain better control. They also wanted easy maintenance and development. For this they choose an EDI solution from PipeChain based on Inobiz and Odex Enterprise and a service-based solution for communication.

You can make a supply chain more demand-driven in many ways but this has not been top of the agenda in the automotive industry. Oticon A/S, part of William Demant Holding A/S, has signed a contract with PipeChain for a migration project to shift from its current VMI and traditional order management solution to PipeChain VMI and WebEDI.
